Technology transfer programme for NGOs

Transfer of knowledge and technology as well as enhancing development of information society have been the grounds for starting this project which is carried out by CSR Profit on behalf of Interniti, an IT company specilising in delivering tailor-made Internet solutions.
It is a wide campaign to enhance NGOs within the area of IT through providing free access to professional Internet solutions, also to foster a constructive dialogue and cooperation between business and non-governmental organisations.
The project aims to adapt and provide a free access to Kramework CMS – a professional content management system for website creation and administration – in partnership with local NGOs.
Moreover, the support also includes provision of practical knowledge base enhancing NGOs' Internet presence and promotion of ecological use of IT devices as well as energy efficiency according to the concept of Green IT.
The project is carried out in compliance with the AA 1000 standard. As a result, an internal framework of stakeholder dialogue and cooperation based on on the aforementioned standard will be implemented throughout the company. This will stand as a basis for future undertakings with the third sector.
The results of the project will benefit all non-governmental organisations as well as social economy entities. The system will be ready to implement in June 2014.
